These are a couple of the photos taken during the 75th Celebration days in September 2013. A historic event, the CHP did a flyover at 11am, and over 300 people wearing yellow 75th commemorative T-shirts, took part in this historic image atop Shasta Dam. Some were "Dam Kids" and there were even a couple of Dam Workers taking part. Community organizations; Shasta Lake Heritage & Historical Society, Shasta Lake Chamber of Commerce, Shasta Lake Caverns, and USBR made this particular event happen. The giant flag was brought over courtesy of Enterprise Lions Club and was held in place by local veterans. A good digitized image of this historic photo is available at Crown Camera in Redding, CA.
